The golf course is still in great shape. We are getting our first measurable rain in over 3 months and the golf course is really loving it!
Our putting greens received their last major top-dressing of the season last Tuesday. This really put the finishing touches on the putting greens so that we head into the winter with healthy and true surfaces.
You may have noticed some bright green stripes on a few of the greens during your round this past week. Our sprayer had a slight glitch: During fertilizer application, one sprayer nozzle malfunctioned and acted like a garden hose instead of a mister. The end result was nothing to worry about, just a few stripes of healthy and extremely green turf.
