SUMMARY:Linden Gets Tough on Golfers
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, August 20th Linden Golf and Country Club will be protecting par with all her defense systems! \nIn an effort to make a par score virtually unattainable and therefore test the player’s mental endurance Linden will be holding a “Toughday” tournament. \nThis format will see the Course set-up in the most demanding fashion\, with the tees pushed back and the holes set in precarious spots. \nThe greens will be at (weather permitting) “Major Championship” speedand firmness. \nThis test of golf will be a “complete examination”\, as Bobby Jones once said of the U.S Open set -up at Merion Cricket Club. \nBe advised that ALL players will face the same conditions.  Whining not allowed!!! \nWe expect NO players to shoot a par score for the round.  Special prizes will be awarded to any and all competitors who achieve this feat. \nCost is $10.00…. \nRegular Saturday play schedule remains in effect with a 7:45 shotgun and Open play beginning at Noon.
